Join CASA and JSA for an evening of Calligraphy, Mahjong and Go, Origami, and Knot Tying, with traditional food and a culture Kahoot with prizes! The event is meant to build community and celebrate Chinese and Japanese traditions through shared activities.

Learn about Undoukai, Japan's traditional school sports day, then take part in relay races, tug-of-war, Karimono Kyoso, and other team challenges. Each event is designed to encourage active participation and friendly competition. We will also be serving Onigiri and snacks.

Celebrate the variety of Japanese cuisine through a short presentation and shared meal featuring sushi, yakisoba, teriyaki, gyoza, sukiyaki, fried chicken, and more! Taste of Japan gives attendees a chance to learn, eat, and explore the range of Japanese food during a fun event.
